  Clarified agent-facing descriptions across the search actions. news\_search and videos\_search now state that offset is a zero-based page index (matching web\_search) rather than a per-result offset. web\_search documents that count caps the web.results section only and not locations, discussions, faq, videos or news, with resultFilter as the way to keep local-intent responses small, and where the rich.hint callback\_key appears; web\_rich points at the real rich.hint.callback\_key path, the enableRichCallback input and the empty-results behaviour for expired keys. place\_search describes the place records it returns and the fields they already include, llm\_context\_get describes its actual grounding and sources shape, and llm\_context\_post states that it differs from the GET variant only in transport. Removed the unobserved distance-value claims from the place\_search geoloc and units inputs.

  Rewrote the API Key connection guide as a complete portal walkthrough — registration form fields, email verification, plan selection with Search as the recommended starting plan, payment activation and My plans confirmation, and API key creation with the "+ Add API key" dialog's Plan selection and the reveal/copy controls. Added portal screenshots, direct links and left-sidebar navigation for the Available plans and API keys sections, and pointed the API Key field helper link at the API keys page.

  Fixed account connection verification failing with a provider 422. The connection test now uses a dedicated minimal web search probe instead of the place search action, which rejects parameterless requests.

  Aligned parameters with Brave's API reference. Removed undocumented ui\_lang (LLM context) and text\_decorations (news search). Added safesearch to both LLM context actions, operators and include\_fetch\_metadata to news and video search, and lang to spellcheck. Fixed array query params (local POI ids, goggles) serializing as bracket notation the provider rejects, and renamed LLM context snippet/token limits and the goggles parameter to the documented wire names so they take effect. Documented the subscription plan gates on the Answers, Autosuggest, and Spellcheck endpoints and moved those three actions to the preview release stage. Encoded the place\_search locator constraints (latitude/longitude pair, exclusive with location) as validation rules and clarified how to obtain web\_rich callback keys and ephemeral POI IDs.
